The tour that must not be named
With our specialist muggle guides, we offer a variety of different tours curated for both children and adults alike, showcasing filming locations, JK’ Rowling’s inspirations, where she wrote and where she lived. If you are in search of Platform 9 and 3/4s, want to wander through Diagon alley, meander past Gringotts and experience some of London’s most famous landmarks which were showcased in the films, a full day London exploring the sites from the Harry Potter films is a magical experience. For those more intrepid explorers looking to enjoy locations which formed many of the interior shoots of the films, we offer an enchanting 2 day Harry Potter & West of England experience. You will visit the frequently filmed cloisters of Laycock Abbey and Gloucester Cathedral, marvel at Hogwarts grand staircase at Christ Church College and stay overnight in the picturesque city of Bath. For ‘Pure blood” wizardry enthusiasts, we have designed a 14 day Harry Potter film location extravaganza which includes a mesmerising Northern voyage. Your tour will include visits to: Alnwick Castle, (the vision of Hogwarts), Goathland Train station (Hogsmead Train station), Durham Cathedral, The Malfroy mansion of Hardwick Hall, Glen Coe & Loch Etive and the City of Edinburgh where JK Rowling lived and wrote her first book.

Children's London
London is a great location for families with young children. Your day is flexible and tailored to the children’s needs and interests. They can explore the armour at the Tower of London, see the magnificent Crown Jewels, roam around the Natural History Museum and come face to face with a T- Rex. Harry Potter fans can spend the day visiting the film locations of all the Harry Potter movies, including Platform 9 and 3/4. Young theatre buffs can take a back stage tour of the Drury Lane Theatre. These are just a few of the sightseeing locations and places to discover in London.
Rock & Pop Tours
This is an essential experience for acoustic connoisseurs to be electrified by the legendary London music scene, culture and history. Your specialist “Rock God” guide will take you on the zebra crossing made famous by the Beatles who were photographed marching to Abbey Road to record their album of the same eponymous name. You will walk to the house where Sir Paul McCartney lived during the 60’s and learn about its colourful history, guests and parties. You will explore the neighbourhood where Jimi Hendrix lived and sadly died, Freddie Mercury & Queen’s favourite hang outs, Led Zeppelin’s former Head Quarters and many of the sights and scenes that inspired this amazing generation of artists. The tour can be extended to experience the sites and folk-tales connected with The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton & Cream, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Elton John, the Sex Pistols, David Bowie and The Who.
Food Market Tour
Escorted by your ‘Fanatical Foodie’ Tour Guide, you will visit one of London’s vibrant culinary hotspots where you will have the opportunity to sample a variety of sweet and savoury dishes to tickle your taste buds. You will then be escorted on an adventure into the fashionable East End to learn about its culinary history and critique some of the local delicious specialities on offer. London is synonymous with the infamous food haven of Borough Market and also the Sunday markets of Spitalfields and Brick Lane, with such a variety available, you will certainly be spoilt for choice!
London Street Art Tour
This is an inspiring tour that will be set alive by an internationally acclaimed, local artist, who will share his knowledge and personal techniques in the phenomena that is Street Art. This creative medium started with the tagging culture of the 1980’s and 1990’s, as a way of ‘marking your manor’ and also showcasing ‘daredevil’ techniques. Over time, letters became symbols and symbols became art. You will discover work from the acclaimed Trinity College Dublin Fine Art alumni, alongside worldwide names in this cultural world. Roa, Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Invader and D*Face are now well known names with art all over the East End and displayed in world-renowned galleries. Your professional international artist will assist and tutor you in creating your very own painting on a legal “street art” wall or on a canvas to take home. This incredible graffiti workshop really is a huge amount of fun! All skill levels and ages are welcome making it perfect for just about anyone: families, couples, friends and budding artists.
Sir Winston Churchill Experience
With an American Mother and an English Aristocratic Father, there can be little wonder that the special bond between these great nations was formed by Winston Churchill. This extraordinary tour unfolds the story of our all-time political hero. You will visit Chartwell House which was his home where he believed that “A day away from Chartwell was a day wasted”. That said, the next day back in London when you have the opportunity to visit the Churchill War Rooms, is an enviable experience. Your personal guide will set alive the scene, inside the bunker that Churchill directed the nation through during WWII. The set for The Darkest Hour was an exact copy and recreation of the Churchill War Rooms. The next stop is the Houses of Parliament where he made some of his most famous speeches. Opposite is St Margaret’s Church where he married Clementine Hosier. You will venture on to St Paul’s Cathedral, which is one of the “BIG 5 attractions” that must be visited in London. This is where Churchill had his funeral in 1965. On your final day, you will visit Blenheim Palace which is a world heritage site built in 1704. It is the birthplace of Churchill and the current residence of the 12th Duke of Marlborough. The last stop is the village of Bladen where Sir Winston Churchill is buried.
Shakespeare Experience
Arguably the greatest playwright, poet and dramatist that ever lived, William Shakespeare works have been admired since 1589 and this popular tour is a pilgrimage to his life. You will discover the sights and sounds of his birth place in the picturesque town of Stratford Upon Avon and where he married Anne Hathaway. You will visit his Mother’s House, daughters home and grand daughters house along with many of the other historic buildings he would have grown up amongst. You will then journey back to London where his career became legendary. You will view his first ‘folio’ which is lovingly protected at the British Museum before heading to the imposing Globe Theatre on the banks of the River Thames. The Globe is an impressive and faithful reconstruction of the open-air playhouse designed in 1599 where many of Shakespeare’s plays were performed. Discover today’s working theatre with in-depth information on Elizabethan London, a tour of the theatre and availability permitting a performance of one of ‘The Bard’s’ plays.
Jane Austen
Jane Austen’s novels remain a constant sublime favourite for readers the world over and her precious works have been transformed into box office movies. Our Jane Austen Experience pays tribute to her legacy and you will be chauffeur driven to Chawton House, her family home where she wrote many of her novels before she succumbed to illness in 1817. You will also visit the nearby Winchester Cathedral, a Norman gothic cathedral dating from 642 AD, where Jane Austen is buried. There is a permanent exhibition which was installed in 2010 to mark the bicentenary decade of Jane Austen’s heyday. The Cathedral has also featured in many other acclaimed films and TV series including the Crown.
Downton Abbey
Adored by millions world-wide, this tour brings to life Julian Fellowes’ epic drama of English sensibility that is Downton Abbey. The charming village of Bampton, located in the Cotswolds, is the real life setting for the fictional village of Downton. Many scenes, including some of Downton Abbey’s key events, have been filmed in and around the church in Bampton, the main location for filming. Highclere Castle is a country house in the Jacobethan style, with a 5,000 acre park designed by Capability Brown. It is the country seat of the Earl of Carnarvon and has been used as the main filming location of Downton Abbey. You will recognise many of the rooms that were used in the British Television series, especially the Drawing room.
